Inverted/Reverse felting needles have barbs that are cut in the opposite direction from other felting needles. This allows the needle to pull fibers out instead of pushing them in.
These needles are used for creating textures like fuzz or fur etc. They can also be used for pulling inner layers of different color to the surface; suitable for use with wooden handles, multi-needle tool or without a handle.
This is a heavy/medium gauge felting needles; suitable for starting and shaping.

You need to wipe needles before first use because they are covered with protective oil.
